What a beautiful and unforgettable day at the 2026 DMV Promise Walk 2026
Being a community sponsor for this year’s walk was incredibly special to me as a preeclampsia survivor. To stand alongside so many families, advocates, survivors, and supporters meant more than words can express. It reminded me that our stories, our voices, and our journeys are all connected in a mission that is so much bigger than ourselves.
This event was filled with love, strength, healing, and memories that will last forever. From every conversation shared to every step walked, the impact was undeniable. Together, we raised awareness, honored families, celebrated survivors, and raised critical funds to continue creating change in maternal health.
A huge THANK YOU and congratulations to Ebony Ford, this year’s DMV Chair, for your dedication, leadership, and heart. Your hard work helped make this event an incredible success.
A special thank you as well to the entire DMV Promise Walk committee for the countless hours, passion, planning, and commitment poured into this event. Your dedication helped create a meaningful experience for so many families and supporters throughout our community.
We are beyond grateful to everyone who donated, walked, volunteered, sponsored, and supported this mission. Not only did we meet our fundraising goal — the numbers are STILL climbing!
Thank you for believing in this cause and for helping us continue raising awareness one family, one city, and one story at a time.
