Impact Report 2025

Since July 2025, 

3,255 people have learned about Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC) — a number that represents awareness, hope, and the power of community. 

Every conversation, every shared story, and every act of compassion brings us one step closer to saving lives and supporting NICU families.

In honor of NICU Awareness Month(September), we were able to bless

 5 incredible families in a Level II NICU with heartfelt care packages — a small reminder that they’re not alone on this journey. 

This effort was made possible through our collaboration with Project Sweet Peas, whose compassion continues to bring light and comfort to NICU families everywhere.

This October, we hosted our First Annual 5k Run/Walk for NEC Awareness! 

Thanks to our incredible community, our 5K Run/Walk for NEC Awareness raised $1,892 to support NICU & NEC initiatives. Every step taken honors our tiniest fighters and helps families facing the hardest days. We are beyond grateful to everyone who showed up, donated, and believed in this mission. 

Since launching on November 11, 2025,

 the Jewelz Beyhive Initiative has already touched the hearts of

 204 families at Inova Fairfax Hospital a level IV NICU — providing hope, resources, and support during their NICU and NEC journeys. 

Each family represents the very reason this program was created — to honor Jewelz LaNeice Duvall’s life and bring comfort to others walking a similar path. 

The Forever Jewelz Foundation is proud to announce that we have been awarded a $1,500 grant from The Wawa Foundation to support our Jewelz Beyhive initiative.

This generous funding will help us continue providing critical support, education, and comfort to NICU families impacted by Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC). We are deeply grateful to The Wawa Foundation for believing in our mission and helping us ensure that hope continues to buzz for families during their most vulnerable moments.
